Configure Connection to the Alteryx Source¶

Customer Managed Applies to customer-managed instances of Alation
Configure the Alteryx Source¶
Configure the connection to the Alteryx server:
On the Access tab, set the BI source visibility as follows:
Public Alteryx — The BI source will be visible to all users of the catalog.
Private Alteryx — The BI Source will be visible to users that have been assigned the BI Server Admin or Viewer role. It will be hidden for all other users.
You can add more Admins or Viewers in the User Access section if required. For more information, see Configure Access to OCF BI Sources
Perform the configuration on the General Settings tab:
Specify Application Settings:

Click Save to save the information you have entered.

Enter any additional data sources for Lineage. Example: Amazon Redshift ODBC DSN:15 |
Specify Obfuscate Literals:

Under Test Connection, click Test to validate network connectivity.
