Alation Connectors¶
Alation Cloud Service Applies to Alation Cloud Service instances of Alation
Customer Managed Applies to customer-managed instances of Alation
Alation offers two licensing categories of connectors: Core Connectors and Enhanced Connectors.
Core connectors are included with all platform tiers (within tier limits).
Enhanced connectors add advanced capabilities and require a separate entitlement.
Both categories are fully integrated into the Open Connector Framework and appear the same in product: the distinction is licensing, not technical. Objects ingested by any connector count toward your object-based license.
