Alation Cloud Service Applies to Alation Cloud Service instances of Alation

Alation Data Quality covers many aspects of data quality assessment. The Data Quality dashboard is segregated in the sections highlighting the overall data quality health score of your data assets, a data score card that displays the timelapse of the gradual increase or decrease in the data quality score, an overview of the all the monitored data assets, a list of failed monitors for easy access, and an overview of the failed or passed data score for a duration of the monitored period.

Alation Data Quality is designed to work seamlessly with a wide array of modern data platforms, ensuring that your data quality initiatives can be applied across your diverse data ecosystem.

Currently, Alation Data Quality support extends to the following industry-leading platforms:

• Amazon Redshift

• Azure Synapse

• Databricks Unity Catalog

• Google BigQuery

• Microsoft SQL Server

• Oracle: Alation Data Quality can be enabled for Oracle data sources (version 21.3 or later). Support for Oracle is not enabled by default.

  If you have connected an Oracle v21.3+ data source to Alation and have purchased the Data Quality feature, contact Alation Support to have this capability enabled for your instance.
